Jeremy Siegel is the Russell E. Palmer Professor of Finance at The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. He served 15 years as head of economics training at JP Morgan and is currently academic director of the U.S. Securities Industry Institute and a senior investment strategy advisor at WisdomTree Investments Inc. A regular Kiplinger and Yahoo! finance columnist, Siegel has also contributed numerous articles to such publications as The Wall Street Journal, Barron's and The Financial Times, and is the author of three books. Stocks for the Long Run was named by the Washington Post one of the 10 best investment books of all time. His current book, The Future for Investors: Why the Tried and the True Triumph over the Bold and New, was named one of the best business books published in 2005 by Business Week, the Financial Times and Barron's. Siegel has received many awards and citations, including the prestigious Nicholas Molodovsky Award by the Chartered Financial Analysts Institute. He received a Ph.D. in economics from MIT.
