Daniel Weiss is Co-Founder and a Managing Partner of Angeleno Group LLC. (AG), where he oversees the firm's investment activities in the areas of emissions reduction, transmission and distribution infrastructure, and power quality and reliability. Prior to the formation of AG, Weiss was an attorney at O'Melveny & Myers in Los Angeles, working in its mergers and acquisitions, international and high-tech practice groups. He represented multiple "Global 1000" clients, including utilities and energy-related companies, in a wide array of private-equity and corporate finance transactions. Weiss has a significant history of involvement in government, regulatory and public-policy entities that deal with the energy sector including work experience in the White House and Congress. He has lectured at Stanford University, Stanford Law School and the University of California, Los Angeles, and has written articles for such media outlets as The New York Times News Service, the Journal of Commerce and The San Francisco Examiner. Weiss earned a master's degree at Stanford University and a J.D. at Stanford Law School.
