Joe Zuback
Chief Technology Officer, Senior Vice President, Siemens Water Technologies
Joseph Zuback is the Chief Technology Officer of Siemens Water Technologies Corp. and Senior Vice President in charge of the Corporate Projects and Technology (CPAT) Group. CPAT is responsible for Siemens Water Technologies' innovation strategy, providing corporate oversight and control of research and development, intellectual property activities, and process and business strategies for complex projects. Zuback began his career with Dow Chemical as a membrane and ion exchange separations technologist, followed by 15 years with Infilco Degremont, with various business and technology development responsibilities in the water industry. He joined USFilter in 1994 and played a key role in business development and acquisition integration during USFilter's rapid growth from annual revenue of $50 million to $5 billion. Upon the acquisition of USFilter by Vivendi (Veolia) in 1999, Zuback created and managed the Corporate Projects Group to oversee complex project development introduction to new major markets and process risk review. He has served on the advisory board for the Chemical and Environmental Engineering Department for the University of California, Riverside. Zuback received a bachelor's degree in chemical engineering from Purdue University.
