Jeff Greenfield is the Senior Political Correspondent for CBS News. The political, media and culture reporter returns to CBS News in May 2007 and will contribute to the "CBS Evening News With Katie Couric," "The Early Show," "CBS News Sunday Morning" and other broadcasts, as well as CBSNews.com. He had been senior analyst for CNN since 1998, serving as lead analyst for primary, convention, presidential debate and election-night coverage, as well as presidential funerals and Supreme Court confirmation hearings. He has written hundreds of articles for such publications as The New York Times Magazine, Esquire, Time, Harper's and National Lampoon, and has authored or co-authored 11 books. Before joining CNN, he was a political and media analyst at ABC News for 14 years. Greenfield has garnered a number of awards, including the 2002 Quill Award for Professional Achievement and three Emmys. He received a degree of legal letters with honors from Yale Law School.
