Blen Mekuria is President and CEO of Blenum Global Ventures Inc., a boutique investment firm in Beverly Hills, California, that focuses on real estate, small enterprises and alternative investments in emerging markets and in the United States. She also serves as the deputy general manager and corporate board member of Mekwor Ethiopia PLC, a leading developer, manager and owner of luxury commercial and residential real estate in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. In 2004 she co-founded and became the executive director of The Mekuria Marru Scholarship Foundation, providing, for the first time in Ethiopia, full merit-based scholarships to financially disadvantaged students at Addis Ababa University, the nation's premier learning institution.
