Jeffrey Cohn is New York Practice Leader at Spencer Stuart, one of the world's leading executive search consulting firms. He specializes in leadership assessment and succession planning. As a member of the firm's Executive Intelligence Group, he helps clients understand the depth of their executive talent and how best to develop rising stars. He has worked with a variety of organizations, including Fortune 500 clients, private equity portfolio companies, universities and international nonprofits. He has designed and launched numerous customized executive-development workshops for clients and for the Chief Executive Leadership Institute, now part of the Yale School of Management. Earlier in his career, Cohn was a principal with the Law & Economics Consulting Group in San Francisco, where he helped launch the company's strategy and organizational performance division. He also was a fellow at Harvard Business School, specializing in strategy and applied corporate finance. Cohn has published widely in the areas of leadership development, succession planning and strategic management. He received a bachelor's degree from Vanderbilt University and an M.B.A. in applied corporate finance from Tulane University.
