Ana Vigon
Managing Director and Head of Latin America Private Equity, AIG Capital Partners, São Paulo
Ana Vigon is a Managing Director and the Head of Latin America Private Equity for AIG Capital Partners in São Paulo. She joined AIG Investments in 1992 and is now one of the senior managers of AIG's global private equity practice, having overall responsibility for Latin America. She oversees the investment strategy and portfolio management policy for several AIG-sponsored private equity funds focused on Latin America. She has also served on the board of directors of several portfolio companies, including Gol Linhas Aéreas Inteligentes, Sendas Distribuidora, Frigorífico Mercosul and Companhia Providência Indústria e Comércio. She was previously senior portfolio manager at Asesores Bursatiles, AIG's former asset management joint venture in Madrid, where she managed several international fixed-income portfolios. Prior to that, she was assistant treasurer at Gruppo Hispamer, the leasing and financing operations of Banco Hispano Americano. Vigon received degrees in economics and business administration, as well as a law degree, from Pontificia de Comillas University (ICADE) in Madrid.
