Casey Wasserman is Chairman and CEO of Wasserman Media Group LLC. He has built the company into a powerhouse in the world of sports and entertainment through aggressive growth and the innovative integration of leading management, marketing and content businesses. The firm represents some of the top athletes and brands in the world of sports. In 1998 Wasserman became the youngest owner of a professional sports team when, at age 24, he purchased the Arena Football League's Los Angeles Avengers. He was elected league chairman in 2002, served a three-year term, and remains on the AFL's executive committee. He is also president and CEO of the Wasserman Foundation, which supports charities including the Jules Stein Eye Institute, the Motion Picture and Television Fund and numerous scholarship programs. Additionally, he serves on the boards of New York University, the William Jefferson Clinton Presidential Library Foundation and the Los Angeles Philharmonic. Wasserman received a bachelor's degree in political science from the University of California, Los Angeles.
