David Steinberg is Founder and CEO of CAIVIS Acquisition Corp., a Washington, D.C.-based firm that acquires and consolidates emerging, profitable Internet marketing companies that might not otherwise be able to access capital. Steinberg previously founded InPhonic Inc., a leading online provider of communication products and services. He was named an Ernst & Young 2002 Entrepreneur of the Year for Greater Washington, and in 2004, InPhonic topped Inc. magazine's list of the fastest-growing privately held companies in the United States. InPhonic's Wirefly.com comparison shopping site was named "Best of the Web" by Forbes magazine. Prior to founding InPhonic, Steinberg served as chairman and CEO of Sterling Cellular, a commercial and retail wireless communications provider, and Sterling Communications, a communications telemarketing company. He is a board member of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, the Northern Virginia Technology Council and the Greater Washington Sports Alliance, and is a member of Sibley Hospital's Development Advisory Council. Steinberg received a bachelor's degree from Washington & Jefferson College in Pennsylvania.
