Robert Hahn

Robert Hahn is a Senior Fellow and Executive Director of Regulatory and Market Studies at the American Enterprise Institute for Public Policy Research, where he examines cutting-edge issues in law and economics, regulation and antitrust. He is also a senior visiting fellow at the Smith School of Enterprise and the Environment at the University of Oxford. Previously he worked for the Council of Economic Advisers, where he helped design the innovative market-based approach for reducing acid rain. Hahn has also served on the faculties of Harvard University and Carnegie Mellon University. The author of several books, he frequently contributes to leading scholarly journals and general-interest periodicals, and has served as a consultant to governments and business on a variety of issues involving regulation, competition and privitization. Hahn is co-founder of the Community Preparatory School, an inner-city middle school in Providence, Rhode Island, that provides opportunities for disadvantaged youth.
