Charles "Chas" Edelstein is Director and CEO of the Apollo Group Inc. Before assuming this role in 2008, he spent more than 20 years with Credit Suisse, most recently serving as a managing director and heading the Global Services Group within the Investment Banking Division, as well as the Chicago investment banking office. Prior to Credit Suisse, he was an auditor and management consultant at Price Waterhouse (now PricewaterhouseCoopers). Edelstein received a bachelor's degree from the University of Illinois and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School, where he graduated as a Baker Scholar.
